Curd Cheese Dumplings

ingredients

serves 4
225 g (8 oz) curd cheese
75 g (3 oz) butter or margarine
75 g (3 oz) semolina
1 egg
salt and pepper

method

1. Mix everything together well and let the mixture rest for 30 minutes.

2. Lightly flour a board and form the mixture into a roll.

3. Cut off slices and roll them into balls the size of new potatoes.

4. Drop them into boiling salted water.

5. When they rise to the top they are cooked.

6. Drain them well and serve with meat.
