Lombardy Starter (bresaola Antipasto)

ingredients

serves 4
225 g (8 oz) 1/2 lb Bresaola (naturally cured beef), thinly sliced
1 clove garlic, crushed
5 ml (1 tsp) freshly ground black pepper
Juice of 1/2 lemon
15 ml (1 tbsp) virgin olive oil

method

1. Lay the Bresaola, slightly overlapping, on a shallow plate.

2. Blend the remaining ingredients together and pour over the cured beef.

3. Allow to stand for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
