Boiled Brussels Sprouts (Choux de Bruxelles Nature)

1 kg Brussels sprouts

method

1. Trim any discoloured or coarse outer leaves. Wash in cold salt water.

2. Place the sprouts into boiling salted water, skim and boil steadily for 8 minutes until tender but still fairly firm, Drain well.

3. Serve dome-shape in a vegetable dish.
