Orange pots

ingredients

serves 4
4 teaspoons powdered gelatine
3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
350 g (12 oz) curd cheese
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons skimmed milk
artificial liquid sweetener, to taste
4 orange slices

method

1. Dissolve the gelatine in the orange juice in a bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water.

2. Blend the gelatine mixture with the remaining ingredients, adding sweetener to taste. Spoon into individual serving dishes and top each with a slice of orange.

This mixture makes an excellent dessert for a celebration picnic. Fill into individual plastic containers, top with a slice of orange and cover with a lid or cling film. Transport to the picnic in a chill-bag.
