Poached figs

ingredients

serves 1
2 tbsp soft brown sugar
splash of red wine
2 figs, cut into quarters
spoonful of Greek-style yoghurt, to serve

method

1. Heat the sugar and wine in a pan until simmering.

2. Add the fig quarters and poach for 6-8 minutes.

3. Remove from the heat and transfer to a serving plate.

4. Serve the yoghurt on top.
