Peach clafoutis

ingredients

serves 2-4
55 g (2 oz) caster sugar
2 peach halves (from a tin)
142 ml (5 fl oz) milk
100 ml (3 1/2 fl oz) double cream
1 vanilla pod, split
1 tsp flour
30 g (1 oz) caster sugar
2 eggs

method

1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) Gas 7.

2. Heat the sugar in an ovenproof pan until a caramel has formed. Add the peaches and shake the pan to coat.

3. Heat the milk, cream, vanilla, flour and caster sugar in a pan for a few minutes. Fold in the two eggs and mix to combine.

4. Pour the mixture into the pan with the peaches and then bake in the oven for 8 - 10 minutes or until golden.

5. Remove from the oven and serve

This recipe worked really well and it was mighty tasty when i ate it. all my friends thought i bought it and they were suprised to hear i baked it. this is a great recipe.
