pizza dough
2 - 3 (canned) peeled plum tomatoes, chopped
2 rashers back bacon, trimmed of fat
2 eggs
polyunsaturated margarine
milk
method
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) gas mark 7.
2. Make the pizza dough.
3. Put the dough onto a greased ovenproof plate. Press out with the fingers into a circle about 15 cm (6 in). in diameter. Raise an edge all round.
4. Cover the base with the chopped tomatoes and put into the oven for 15 minutes on the top shelf.
5. While the base is baking, grill the bacon and chop into small squares. Scatter over the tomatoes.
6. Put a small knob of margarine into a small pan and add 1 tbsp milk. Heat gently to melt the margarine. Add the egg, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks and sets. While still soft and creamy, take off the heat.
7. Spread over the pizza and serve piping hot. Season to taste.
