Grilled Squid with Lime

ingredients

serves 3 - 4
2 - 3 large fresh squid
750 - 900 g (1 1/2 - 2 lb) uncleaned weight
salt and pepper to taste
oil
6 - 10 wedges lime

method

1. Clean the squid (or ask the fishmonger to do it for you).

2. Season, then brush them with oil before grilling over a barbecue for 8 - 12 minutes. (They can also be cooked under a grill or in a frying pan with oil.)

3. Slice into rings after cooking and serve hot with the lime wedges.
