1. Mince the meat, bacon and onion and mix together with the herbs, salt, pepper and breadcrumbs. Bind with stock or gravy.
2. Shape into a roll and wrap in greased greaseproof paper.
3. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated moderate oven 180°C (350°F) Gas Mark 4 for 30 minutes.
4. Serve hot or cold, in slices.
5. Note: This is a good way to use up leftovers as the quantities can be easily varied.
