175 g (6 oz) Cheddar cheese, grated
3/8 cup (40 g) plain flour, sieved
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoons milk
4 hard-boiled eggs
dry breadcrumbs for coating
fat for deep frying
1. Mix together the cheese, flour, salt, beaten egg and milk.
2. Using wet hands, coat the hard-boiled eggs completely with the cheese mixture, then roll them in the breadcrumbs.
3. Deep fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown.
4. Drain on paper towels and serve hot or cold.
