Butterscotch Yams

ingredients

6 medium Yams, cooked,peeled, quartered
1/2 cup Light corn syrup -- or dark
1/2 cup Firmly packed light brown Sugar
1/4 cup Evaporated skim milk
1 tsp Butter
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cinnamon

method

1. Preheat oven to 325F.

2. Arrange yams in single layer in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Bake 15 min.

3. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat, boil for 5 min.

4. Pour over yams.

5. Return dish to oven and bake, basting frequently, for at least 15 min.
