Hot Yoghurt and Grapefruit

ingredients

serves 4
2 grapefruit
150 g natural yoghurt
2 tbsp brandy (optional)
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 maraschino cherries

method

1. Cut the grapefruit in half crossways and cut out the segments with a sharp knife, removing all the pith and membranes.

2. Put the segments into a bowl and stir in the yoghurt, and brandy if used.

3. Return the mixture to the grapefruit shells and sprinkle with brown sugar.

4. Heat under a hot grill for 2-3 minutes or until the sugar bubbles.

5. Decorate with the maraschino cherries.

6. Serve as a dessert or as a first course for dinner.
