Calvados Apples

ingredients

10 oz (300 g) tinned calvados apples
10 oz (300 g) vanilla ice cream
7 fl oz (200 ml)
single cream
sugar
cinnamon
lemon balm tor decoration

method

1. Drain the calvados apples using a colander. Make sure you retain the juice.

2. Mix together the vanilla ice cream, the juice from the calvados apples and the single cream. Season with sugar and cinnamon.

3. Arrange the apples on plates and pour over the vanilla sauce. Garnish with the lemon balm and serve.
