8 oz (225 g) mooli radish
8 oz (225 g) carrots
juice of 1/2 large orange
juice of 1/2 lemon
thinly pared rind of 1 orange, cut into julienne strips
2 tbsp clear honey
6 or 7 red radishes, thinly sliced
1. Peel the mooli radish and carrots and slant cut them by slicing at a 45 degree angle, then turn the vegetable 180 degrees towards you and slice again.
2. Steam the mooli radish and carrots until just tender, about 20 minutes. Heat the orange and lemon juice, rind and honey in a small saucepan. Bring to boil and reduce by half.
3. Transfer the mooli radish and carrot to a heated serving dish, mix with the red radishes and pour over the hot honey and orange mixture.
