Pears With Chocolate Rum Sauce

ingredients

serves 4
4 oz (125 g) plain chocolate
4 tbsps dark rum
1/2 oz (15 g) butter
4 pears, peeled and cored

to garnish:

chopped nuts

method

1. Melt the chocolate, rum and butter in a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water. Stir until smooth.

2. Pour over the pears and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
